Time Out Hong Kong launch.
Having masterminded their relaunch as a free magazine in London and New York, Time Out naturally turned to Magazine Heroes to do the same in Hong Kong.
Having worked in many different territories, we used our expertise to develop a bespoke plan that was right for Hong Kong. We called on our international network of contacts to secure the best deals for the client.
We arranged for the magazine to be circulated to a wide range of hotels, offices, cultural venues, transport hubs and retailers, as well as negotiating for on-street distribution to be tied in with existing services for the city’s daily newspapers.
Our Managing Director, Dan Collins, personally flew out to Hong Kong to supervise the first distribution, taking a hands-on approach to ensure high standards and best practice from day one. Our successful handling of the project and strong circulation figures led to a second, Chinese-language version of the magazine being launched with six months..
